I live near Denver so anywhere west of there no farther than an hour and a half. I want to go camping but not at an expensive campground, I want to go to a state park or something I'm just not sure where to go and which places allow what. We just want to pitch a tent and have a campfire in the mountains.

Answer
= Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes is the gateway to the town of Estes Park and the spectacular Rocky Mountain National Park. Our resort offers 35 acres of hillside CAMPING and CABINS overlooking a beautiful mountain meadow that is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Roosevelt National Forest.

where should we go for road trip?

Q. Hello everyone, Me and a guy friend of mine are planning to go on a road trip. We are both from northern california. And our plan is to see more of a nature as we do hours of driving on the road. We want to do road trip on a different state where we can also camp and hike. Our trip will only last for about 5 days. To all the experience road trip venturer please give me some positive ideas. Thank you all.

Answer
I think one of the best places to road trip is either in Colorado because of all the mountains, trails, and state/national parks to hike in. Another good place is the east coast because there are beaches and water but also mountains and trails and cities. I think Colorado would be the best choice because if you go to the areas where the ski resorts are in the winter like Aspen, Vail, Breck, Keystone, Loveland, there are lots of places to stay and there are also lots of trails and mountains to go up.
