camping place usa image
Q. I need to know how much a 16 oz tank costs to refill, i know prices differ but I just need to know what to expect. I'm going to be refilling it at a uHaul place and using it for airsoft.
Answer
Here in the USA it's illegal to transport 16oz refilled small propane tanks or anything under 1/2 gallon. The big 1-3 gallon and bigger tanks or ok of course. A new 16oz costs around $2-4 where as filling a big unit they charge by the gallon around the same price $3-5 a gallon. There is an adapter you can get the lets you refill them from a bigger tank but it's just not worth the time or hassle.

What is one of the most beautiful, interesting places you have visited in the USA?
doyouknow?
My boyfriend and I are planning a trip in December and we are looking for a place to go that we have never been to. We live in Ohio and would like something with 8 hours driving time. Has anyone visited any place spectacular that might be worth our time to look into?
let me fix that...we would like something that is within around 8 hours of driving time as we only have a few days to spend
Also if you have a specific town or attraction in that state, it would be very helpful
Answer
It might be a little longer than 8 hours, but The North Shore of Lake Superior is really really nice, if your into hiking, seeing beautiful waterfalls, experiencing the outdoors. There is a lot to do, but it is way more fun in the summer. There is canoeing/kayaking near the boundary waters canoe area. If you like skiing/snowboarding, there are some really nice ski slopes in Lutsen, MN. I swear, its better than some places in Colorado. There are lots of unique shops that sell unique jewelry, funky art or other things from the locals along the scenic highway. There are several state parks, like Gooseberry Falls State Park which is really cool. I know there is a place where you can mush sled dogs. There is camping, unique little gift shops all along the scenic highway... Duluth, MN is like a miniature little san franciso. It has cobblestone streets and really cool little shops. It also has a ski hill and you can see the ships go in/out of the harbor. Very neat. You can also go looking for agates. I suggested the North Shore of Lake Superior because I have travelled a lot its still my favorite place to go on vacation. If I wrote everything about it here, this post would be waayyy too long.
Here are some pics, If you are interested..some of them I took and others are from google
