I have seen a make-believe fireplace in movies and want to know where can I buy one. It is not a real one, it sort of like a computerized one. It make people think you have a fireplace.

Where can I find a cabin to rent with a nice big fireplace in the room?

In the month of January, February or March, I'll be looking for a cabin to rent that is in a beautiful part of the woods or mountains in perhaps Tennessee or Kentucky that is quiet and romantic and I'd really like a big fireplace in the room, would anyone know of such a place or several suggestions to check out? Looking for Good reviews as well.

Answer
Try Devil's Fork, Oconee and Table Rock state parks in South Carolina. They are along the mountainous Blue Ridge Escarpment and have great wintertime weather for hiking. Try Cacapon and Pipestem state parks in West Virginia. Also look at Canaan Valley. In January Canaan has lots of snow. That means downhill and cross country skiing as well as snowshoeing. See www.canaanresort.com. Unfortunately the photos do not show the fireplaces very well, but they all have them. Now I'm sure the Kentucky and Tennessee state parks have cabins too and also North Carolina. Check the Great Smokey Mountains National park too. I also like camping in cabins.
