What is best in Pune

I am going to my home town(South India) I need to buy something from Pune. But dont know what is special to buy and take it home. Can anyone suggest me some good stuff like sweet, Sari,Cloths etc to buy which is special in Pune. Am going to my home after a long time. Pls help

Whenever I go to Pune I dont forget to buy the famous Shrewsbury biscuits available at Kayani bakery in Camp area. Its near to MG Road. Everyone just love these biscuits.
If you want to buy some clothes, you can buy sarees(esp The city is famous for the Narayan Peth and Pochampalli variety of sarees.), salwar kameez, beautiful tops from any of the places like Laxmi Road, MG Road, Deccan, etc. You can also buy sweets from Bhavanagari Sweet mart which is the oldest sweet mart in Pune. Specially âSutterfenni' or Bengali sweets..

Need suggestion for Yoga class or retreat in Pune, India?

I am traveling to India for the first time, primarily for business. But as a relative beginner to Yoga, I figure this is the best time to really experience the truest Yoga experience instead of the Americanized one.

Can you recommend a place when I can go on a day long retreat in or near Pune where I can meditate or practice Yoga with instruction or guidance? I am a total white-guy, English only speaker but don't necessarily want a place that caters to Americans or tourists. I just want to be safe and comfortable.

Thanks for your help. I am really looking forward to my first trip to India.
