Does any one know of any places that are on the beach, have free form camping, open fires and are no further away from Sydney then Nowra, Newcastle or Parramatta?

no it is all banned unless you are in a camp site, the closest you would come would be little marley beach at bundeena in the national park

Anywhere in the Eastern Suburbs area that I could sleep outdoors on New Years Eve where it might be nice and secluded? My mates and I wanna have a quiet campout thing, but it'll need to be in the Eastern Suburbs. We were thinking Clovelly beach, but alot of people go there to drink New Years. Any ideas?
