Is there a place to camp in Chicago? Near grant park preferably.

But seriously Chicago is urban - no campgrounds nearby. If you want a "convenient" campground consider the Indiana Dunes. It is convenient to the Dune Park south Shore Station and it would be a 1:15 trip into the city.

I'm going to Chicago in July and am going to see a Cubs game while I'm there. I would like to try to find a campground pretty close to the field or anywhere close to Chicago. Any ideas?

No campgrounds within 25 miles of Wrigley Field...most park district facilities close at sundown...none permit camping.
Not on the list below is Illinois State Park Beach in Zion. It's about 45 miles from WF:
