camping NSW/QLD?

Q. i'm about to take a week or so and drive north from sydney with a mate and see what we come across. Does anybody have any suggestions about places to stay? campsites? will it be too cold to camp? any suggestion son things to see and do? we will probably end up just north of Surfer's as I have friends there.

any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

Answer
if you intend camping "in the hills" yes it will be cold at night - bring a very warm sleeping bag, gloves & beanie,
you can camp at Binna Burra or O'Reilly's if you like bushwalking - goes down to about 0c at night.
tonight it's 6c in coastal areas.
for camping try the caravan parks - many of them have campsites.
