We are planning a camping trip in july, and well i was wonding if we need to spend $100 plus bucks, or can we get a way with $40 at walmart?.... Whats the difference and do we really need to pay that much?...

No you don't need to spend that much for good quality. Coleman Tents makes good quality tents for less then $100. the bigger the tent the higher the price of course they make a 9x7 tent that will fit a family of 4 for $79.us

I need a big family cabin tent that cost under $180.00. It needs to sleep at least 6 people.

You can also bet that the sporting goods stores like sports authority, REI, Big 5 are doing the same. $180. should get you a very nice even high end quality tent right now
