where are some good spots to tent camp in MD preferably near kingsville
Answer
I don't know where Kingsvile is but have you considered Assateague Island, where the wild Assateague horses run free? It's been called one of the best state parks in the country.
Of course it's a little cold this time of year, but come spring it's a very popular place to camp.

Where can I go open camping in Maryland?

Not sure if open camping is a common phrase, but I am wondering where I can go camping in Maryland without having to camp in a campground. While I was in WV/PA area for college, there were plenty of places that not only allowed but encouraged just going to a state forest, walking several miles into the forest and pitching a tent. Most of the state parks and state forest I see in Maryland mention campgrounds. So are there any good open camping site in Maryland, preferably by the bay?
