Firespark

Ok, so some close friends of mine and I want to start a Summer Camp for perhaps 20 young children. We all live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but none of us have very big houses. Does anyone know about any places that I can set up a few activities for, if not for free, very cheap?

Answer
Trinity Pentecostal Church in LaSalle recently bought the old Nautilus gym and fully renovated it. It is huge in there and they even kept the gym where kids can play basket ball and such. I know that they are open to renting out the building.

Email me for more info if you are interested.

Any suggestions to what i should bring on a long trip?

How To Sav

So i'll be going to Quebec City from NYC in a few days, and I hear the bus ride is 9 hours long, which is pretty long for a bus ride. I dont want to die from boredom on the bus, so anyone have any good suggestions to what I should bring? Or should i just sleep the whole way lol.

Oh, and also, what should I bring for the trip in general. I'm going to be staying there for 4days/3nights. I don't want to over pack stuff, or bring not enough and than having to suffer later on. Any suggestions? Thanks to everyone in advance.

Answer
You need to read this sorry if its too long... and have a nice trip in advance.

Everything should fit into a backpack NEVER over pack, trust me it will be hell if you took too much stuff with you, here is my advice (I went on so many trips traveled 3 times, camping ....etc) for a short trip like yours take one item for fun or two MAX. example: small gameboy, a book or comic or mp3 music thingy ( remember chose one or two tops and you'll probably be too busy exploring and seeing new things you won't get bored just think about it you will always have your mp3 or book or whatever but trips like these don't come every day enjoy your time especially if your with family trust me you will see how precious these moments will become to you later on in life when your far away from home) take an extra set of cloths so you can change in the unlikely event you fell in a pond and you need to change which means pants a sweater, SOME underwear, a pair of socks only, remember keep cloths numbers to minimum, if they can't fit in a back pack then use a SMALL travel bag instead of a pack NEVER take more than one bag with you especially on a short trip like yours, take money hard cash will get you out of any tough situation of course being nice will do that even better, :D don't take food unless you want to camp :) no water no supplies of any kind you can buy them, if the place your staying at has towels, soap...etc hygiene stuff then don't take this thing with you if not then a small shampoo bottle, small soap (SMALL and new) and always take tooth brush of course and tooth paste, in short remember:
1- money
2- One fun item or two (you won't have time to use more)
3- FEW extra cloths
4- hygiene products (if necessary)
5- sense of adventure (this is a must)

have fun and remember enjoy the trip, and don't take your home with you keep it in your heart, and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places, stay optimistic and keep a smile on your face and every one will love you :D trust me I know.
